In 2024, the tall ship Wonder completed a landmark voyage along America's Great Loop, sailing from Key Largo, Florida, all the way north to Detroit and back down to Key West with students aboard for the entire route. Among them were five students from the Nueva School, who collectively joined for a 1,500-mile stretch of the journey, living and learning aboard a working sailing vessel across multiple states and waterways.

In addition to serving as a massive the proof-of-concept for the Ocean Campus, the voyage also began to test Wonder as a revenue stream for The Planet School through hosting a very truncated sunset sail and charter season in Detroit for the month of September. Balancing student programming, long-distance passage-making, and paying charter work over a route of that length made the voyage a major prototype for what the Ocean Campus could become: a vessel capable of sustaining real educational immersion, self-sufficient operations, and commercial viability all at once.
