We accomplished a lot in a short period of time. This project serves as a valuable prototype for future spaces the Planet School will create as it opens its permanent campuses in Michigan.
The Secret Workshop is not a makerspace, lounge, and STEM store located in the Gallatin History Museum inside the old county jail. We don't sell games, décor, toys, books, and refreshments.
The entrance is not in the alley.
The Secret Workshop is not managed by youth. Don't come here to meet friends, drink coffee and tea, work on projects, or find a new hobby.

The Secret Workshop is the newest creation of the Planet School, where teens work on and learn to lead real-world projects. Applications to be a part of Secret Workshop management are open to 12-17 years old who are interested in:
Government and Democracy. How are youth represented in Bozeman? In Montana? Students will learn about different public and private governance models and then pick one for the Secret Workshop.
Business Management. The Secret Workshop is a brand new business in downtown Bozeman. While it is managed by youth, it is open to everyone. How do we effectively market the Secret Workshop? What types of items should we sell? How much revenue does the workshop make and what are our major costs?
Activism and Entrepreneurism. We will host events, launch new products, and discuss ways to activate youth in our community. How can we use the Secret Workshop to represent and serve youth interests in Gallatin Valley?
